We've gone with the greenest paint system available in the world! We are now using the latest waterborne paint system from PPG. It has reduced basecoat spray emissions over 90%! Also, it has made solvent waste almost non-existent. Very few shops in the nation have taken the initiative to install this paint system and claim the very limited effect on the environment.

Marin Collision actively supports environmental conservation. We firmly believe it is necessary to reduce, reuse and recycle. An auto body and collision repair center generates a very large amount of waste and it is our duty to ensure that this waste, in fact turns into recyclables whenever possible. We use only the most respected companies for transport and disposal of paint waste. Much of the waste is recycled for other uses. Paint spraying is performed in our heated Garmat spray booth. Overspray is processed through an elaborate filter system before ever being exhausted.

We go to great lengths to recycle every possible item that comes through our facility. Other recycled items include:

• Oil
• Freon
• Plastics
• Plastic Bumpers 
• Steel bumpers
• Headlamp/ tail-lamp housings
• All metal products
• Cardboard and paper
• Glass, including windshields
• Solvents
• Tires

As with our repairs, we believe the sign of an environmentally conscious company is no sign at all.
